Spam e-mail is responsible for more than 75% of all e-mail across the world*. Spam is unsolicited bulk e-mail and is a growing problem for business and home Internet users alike. Millions of e-mails containing rogue advertisements, offensive content and unwanted promotions are transferred at random into people's private e-mail boxes every day.
To combat this growing problem, the Primus E-mail Spam Protection service will scan all your incoming Primus e-mail and block spam e-mail from reaching your inbox.
The Primus E-mail Spam Protection service is powered by IronPort, the world's most innovative anti-spam filtering technology. Each day the Primus network is updated to block new spam threats to ensure up to 95% of all spam is blocked from your inbox.

How is my spam e-mail processed?
All e-mails addressed to your Primus e-mail address(es) identified by the software as probable spam will automatically be diverted to a spam folder in your name. This e-mail will be held in your spam folder for a duration of 7 to 14 days, after which it may be automatically deleted.
To view your spam folder, log in to your Primus webmail account (https://webmail.iprimus.com.au).
In some instances, e-mail sent to your Primus e-mail address(es) that are from a recognised or trusted source, may be filtered as probable spam. Primus recommends checking your spam folder at least every 7 days to ensure that you can save any items before they are deleted.
Will all my Primus e-mail address(es) be protected from spam?
Unlike some Internet Service Provider anti-spam services, Primus' E-mail Spam Protection service does not charge based on individual mailboxes. All e-mail address(es) that are allocated to your Primus Internet access account, will be protected against Spam for the one low monthly fee. That's up to 7 mailboxes on some Internet access plans.
